Actor Jr NTR’s upcoming yet-untitled Telugu project with director Koratala Siva was officially launched on Thursday with a pooja ceremony with filmmaker SS Rajamouli clapping the first shot. The project, currently dubbed NTR 30, marks the Telugu debut of actor Janhvi Kapoor.

Jr NTR is reuniting with Koratala Siva for NTR 30 after Janatha Garage. In one of the videos that have gone viral on the internet, Jr NTR can be seen welcoming Janhvi for the launch as he shook hands with her. Janhvi draped a light green saree and a matching blouse.

In another video, both Jr NTR and Janhvi can be seen joining Rajamouli on stage as he claps the first shot and announces the commencement of the shoot. Speaking at the launch ceremony, director Koratala Siva said, “The film is set in a forgotten coastal land of India. It’s a very emotional story about how we live in a world that has more monsters than humans.”

Ever since the project was officially announced, fans have taken over social media demanding updates on the film. Recently, Jr NTR requested fans to not keep asking for updates all the time as it puts a lot of pressure on many people. Speaking at the pre-release event of his brother Kalyan Ram’s film Amigos, NTR requested his fans to not keep demanding updates.

“Sometimes, when we’re working on a film, there isn’t much information to share. We can’t keep sharing updates on a daily or hourly basis. As much as I understand your excitement and the urge, sometimes all of this leads to a lot of pressure on the producer as well as the filmmaker. Due to the pressure, sometimes we end up sharing an update that doesn’t have much value which upsets the fans even more,” he said.
