After the box office success of ‘Animal’, Triptii Dimri became the most talked about celebrity. People have been asking the actress about her upcoming projects. According to the latest reports, the actress will be next seen opposite Kartik Aaryan in the upcoming ‘Aashiqui 3’.
As per a report by Pinkvilla, the makers of ‘Aashiqui 3’ have been bowled over by Triptii’s performance in ‘Animal’. They believe that the actor would do justice to the role. “Triptii has been the talk of the town following the historic success of Animal and the makers feel that she would set the screen on fire with Kartik Aaryan. The conversations have been on for quite some time and the makers have now locked her as the female lead,” Pinkvilla quoted a source close to the upcoming project.

It has been reported that Anurag Basu has been roped in as the director of this film. Speaking about Kartik Aaryan, the source told Pinkvilla, “It's a new space for Kartik too and he will be looking to explore the intense side of romance. He has been a graduate of rom-coms and will now be switching zones to another world of love stories. He is also very excited to embark on this journey.”
‘Aashiqui 2’ directed by Mohit Suri starred Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. The movie broke box-office records, and just like the franchise's first film, the music of this film also ruled the charts for a long time. ‘Aashiqui 3’ will mark the first time Kartik and Tripti grace the screen together.
