For the past couple of weeks, there have been rumours that actor Isha Koppikar and restaurateur Timmy Narang have officially called it quits. Now according to Timmy, the two indeed filed for divorce, which was granted to them in November last year.
As per a report in Times of India, the couple ended their marriage of 14 years. More so, Isha moved out of his residence with their nine-year-old daughter, Rianna. Timmy further confirmed that they were “contemplating divorce” for almost a year and a half. He added that the divorce was granted in November last year, and their separation has been on “amicable terms”. Timmy stated, “Both of us are now free to move on with our lives, which is a fact.”

Timmy further revealed that he has opened up about their divorce since there have been reports that the actress was exploring legal options for divorce proceedings. He further mentioned how there shouldn’t be “any confusion” as the divorce had already come through. “While I haven't read the latest report, considering the legal option isn't even an option because the divorce has already come through. It's as simple as that,” he was quoted as saying.
Nonetheless, on Instagram, Isha still has her full name– Isha Koppikar Narang. As for their marriage, Isha and Timmy had tied the knot in 2009 after reportedly meeting at a gym. They started dating soon and eventually got married. Isha and Timmy welcomed Rianna in July 2014.

Work wise, Isha has made several Hindi film appearances, including Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Don’, Vivek Oberoi’s ‘Kyaa Kool Hai Hum’ and ‘Qayamat’. She will be next seen in ‘Ayalaan’. The Tamil sci-fi film also features Sivakarthikeyan, Rakul Preet Singh and Sharad Kelkar among others. The film is reportedly based on a group of friends who befriend an alien as a group of hostile scientists try to chase it. The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
