The Mumbai Crime Branch has pushed the arrest toll in the Tiger Shroff firing case to 13 after nabbing a 22-year-old woman from Karnal, Haryana, in a joint operation with local police on Sunday. Officials have withheld her identity and specific involvement while extradition proceedings are underway to transfer her to Mumbai.

Tiger Shroff Firing Incident Details

Tiger Shroff was reportedly targeted in a firing incident outside a football ground in Mumbai’s Juhu on October 18. The actor was at the venue for a football session when gunshots were fired. Though the actor escaped unhurt, his driver and a fan sustained minor injuries in the attack, prompting the Mumbai Crime Branch to take over the case from Juhu Police.

Shortly after, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the shooting, reportedly framing the hit as payback for Tiger’s past comment hailing Salman Khan as the “only tiger in Bollywood.”

Police launched an investigation and examined suspected links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The incident came in the wake of other security concerns involving prominent film personalities. Gunshots were fired outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s Juhu residence in February, while Salman Khan has faced repeated threats, including firing outside his Bandra residence in April 2024.

Thirteen suspects have been rounded up in connection with the Tiger Shroff shooting, starting with the two shooters and their getaway driver, who were nabbed at Kota railway station while fleeing to Delhi by train the following day. The arrest of this 22-year-old woman adds to the tally.

Delhi police subsequently netted four alleged arms suppliers: Radha Verma, Babita Rao, Kunal Jaminsingh, and Sumit Saroliya. Three accomplices—Sarpanch Khatak (alias Ankit), Sameer Khatri, and Jatin Panchal—were collared in Sonipat, Haryana, for funding and executing logistical support. The nationwide crackdown later led to the arrests of Pranjal Thakral in Indore and Amar Mundiya in Sonepat.

Investigators are also probing the alleged involvement of absconding gangster Anil Pandit, believed to be linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, in the conspiracy behind the shooting.
