When Sushant Singh Rajput was alive, there were speculations of him dating Rhea. The actress made her relationship with him public in January 2020 when she shared a picture of her and Sushant on his birthday.
Rhea’s brother, Showik Chakraborty, also remembered him on his birthday. He reposted an old picture with the actor. They are at a party and are hugging each other. In the long post, he penned his emotions and wrote how he felt about losing him. He said, “I don't think anything I say will suffice the relationship we shared. My brother, I looked up to you and now I look up in the sky and see you but guess what? I don’t even need a telescope to see the biggest and brightest star. You always believed in my gut, and now my gut tells me you're at a better place so I believe it.
