After having a wonderful run in the theatres, Prabhas' superhit film 'Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire' has landed its foot on OTT, in less than a month of its release.
'Salaar' has emerged as a box office phenomenon all across. This action-fuelled film has bagged over Rs 400 crore in the domestic run alone, ever since its theatrical release on December 22, 2023. Starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles, and Sriya Reddy, Eeswari Rao, Jhansi, Jagapathi Babu, Brahmaji, and Sapthagiri as supporting roles, 'Salaar: Part 1' has gone on to become one of the highest-grossing films of 2023, despite receiving mixed reactions from audiences and critics.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, the movie has now had a digital release, on January 20, only on Netflix. The streaming service announced the film's premiere on their social media on January 19.

The makers captioned it, "Khansaar's Salaar, Varadharaja Mannar's Salaar is here and you already know the war machine is UNSTOPPABLE!"
The movie is now available for streaming at the comfort of your homes in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, while also having English subtitles. The Hindi version won't be available for a while now, because there needs to be a gap of two months between theatrical and OTT releases as a mandate made by multiplex associations.
On another note, the official announcement regarding the film's second part titled 'Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryanga Parvam' will be out soon.
