Matthew Perry was found dead in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home on October 28. He was 54. His sudden death sent shockwaves across the world. On Tuesday, his 'Friends' co-star Matt LeBlanc paid an emotional tribute to him. LeBlanc, 56, shared a few images from the show. Matthew and Matt featured in the popular sitcom for 10 seasons.

Matthew played the role of Chandler Bing while Matt played the role of Joey Tribbiani in 'Friends'. On the show, they were roommates and shared a bitter-sweet relationship. 

LeBlanc is the first of the cast of 'Friends' to pay a solo tribute to his co-star Perry on social media. The post will turn you emotional for sure. 

''Matthew, it is with a heavy heart I say goodbye,” wrote LeBlanc on Instagram. Recalling the old times, the actor wrote, “The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend.''

He added, “I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never.''

''Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love,” he continued.

Matt concluded his eulogy with a joke: “I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never. Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love.”

Matthew Perry's death certificate was also released on Tuesday, the same day as LeBlanc paid his tribute. Perry died at 4:17 pm on October 28, 2023. As per reports, his funeral was attended by his 'Friends' co-stars – Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courtney Cox, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc.
