Jeo Baby’s critically acclaimed movie, ‘Kaathal – The Core’ is now available to stream on OTT. Starring Mammootty and Jyothika, the Malayalam film started streaming on Amazon Prime Video from January 4 onwards.
Amazon Prime Video shared a picture of the poster on their X (formerly, Twitter) handle. The streaming giant wrote, “Political ambitions, personal revelations, and a riveting tale of self-discovery #KaathalTheCoreOnPrime, watch now.” The movie is available in five languages on the OTT platform – Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

The news has left fans ecstatic. One fan wrote, “Super hit, critically acclaimed, most loved film, and intense performance. The film was released in theatres on November 23, 2023. After 42 days of its theatrical release, the film has paved its way to OTT screens. ‘Kaathal – The Core’ deals with the story of a homosexual man who deals with his divorce, his upcoming elections, and how society treats him. The story is a riveting tale of coming out in a conservative space.

Written by Adarsh Sukumaran and Paulson Skaria, the film is produced by Mammootty. Before the film’s release, it was reported that the movie was banned in Kuwait and Qatar. Post its release, the film was praised for handling a sensitive story with utmost nuance.
