Katrina Kaif Praises Anushka Sharma: You Can See Whenever Virat Kohli Is Playing, There Is Joy On Her Face

It would not be wrong to say that the Diwali season has been taken over by Salman Khan's ‘Tiger 3’. While the film has been immensely loved by the audience, it certainly has left an indelible mark with its phenomenal opening of 44.50 crore, that too on Diwali day. In fact, despite multiple festivals, fractured holidays, and World Cup tournaments, the film went on to prove its mettle at the box office. As the World Cup final match has ended, ‘Tiger 3’ witnessed a jump in its box office collections and has now reached Rs 376 crore gross worldwide, as of November 20. 

Interestingly, on the sidelines of the ICC World Cup 2023 Final on Sunday, Salman Khan seemingly confirmed that he and Katrina Kaif will be back as Tiger and Zoya in ‘Tiger 4’. As Katrina was praising cricketer Virat Kohli’s dedication towards the game, Salman dropped a major hint about the possibility of yet another sequel in the Tiger film franchise. 

“Watching Virat when he started playing IPL for RCB, from then until now just look at the journey and the graph…,” an impressed Katrina said. “And, you also saw from Tiger 1 to Tiger 3 na and that too at 57. Now wait for Tiger 4 at 60,” Salman then quipped, leaving Katrina in splits. Katrina then said both Salman and Virat both are “great fitness inspiration.”

She also praised Anushka Sharma for being a pillar of support to her cricketer husband. “They (Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma) are such wonderful support to each other. You can see whenever Virat is playing, there is joy on her (Anushka’s) face, it’s beautiful to see that,” an IANS report quoted the ‘Tiger 3’ actress as saying.

Meanwhile, as per film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has so far minted Rs 214.25 crore till now at the domestic box office. On Saturday, the film earned Rs 18.25 crore, and the Sunday collection was impacted largely due to the ICC World Cup 2023 final.

‘Tiger 3’ features Salman Khan in the lead alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, the film was released in cinemas on November 12, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
