Actor Himansh Kohli's short film ‘Gahvara' will be screened at the 29th Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF). KIFF 2023 has started from December 5 and will continue till December 12 this year. ‘Gahvara’ will be screened at the prestigious film festival on December 8 and December 12.
The short film is directed by Tariq Mohammad and produced by Neeru Kohli. The movie is about loss, human emotions and self-improvement.
Himansh, who became popular with his film, ‘Yaariyan' is on cloud nine that his film is going to be screened at the film festival. Opening up about his role in the film, he told ANI, ''Portraying Farhan in Gahvara has been an emotionally stirring journey, delving into themes of loss, family, and personal transformation. It is a role that has touched my soul and allowed me to explore the depths of human emotions.”
Director Tariq Mohammad also shared his thoughts, “Gahvara intricately weaves the complexities of familial ties and the impact of sudden loss on an individual’s life. Himansh Kohli’s portrayal of Farhan brings depth to the character, making the film a touching exploration of human emotions.”
