Om Raut’s Adipurush, based on Ramayan, has been receiving a lot of criticism and amid that controversy, Ramanand Sagar’s show Ramayan is all set to air on television once again. Shemaroo TV took to its social media handles to announce the rerun of the show and shared a small clip from one of the episodes.

Ramayan will start airing on Shemaroo TV from July 3.

Adipurush, which was released on June 16, received a lot of backlash from the audience. The Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan-starrer film has been questioned for its authenticity and the representation of facts. Arun Govil, who played Lord Ram, Ramayan, even called Adipurush 'Hollywood ki cartoon.'
