Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming film ‘Adipurush’ yet again has him in quite a striking avatar. Playing the role of Lankesh in the film was quite a risk, and it got him some mixed reviews at the announcement, but when the trailer was released, seeing Saif in an evil avatar once again left fans asking for me. Even though the first teaser trailer of the film was bashed by people from all over for the way the visual effects were shown, the next trailer of the film rectified pretty much all of that, and now everyone is super excited for the release of the movie. Just with a few glimpses in the trailer Saif established that he is in to play a complex character and the way he essays it is quite commendable.

‘Sacred Games’
The 2018 Netflix show Sacred Games was really elevated to greater heights, thanks to its amazing star cast. Especially, Saif Alia Khan’s portrayal of police officer Sartaj Singh was a real game changer. He played the character with great ease; however, this was one of his most layered performances.
‘Laal Kaptaan’
The film stars Saif Ali Khan as a bounty hunter called Gossain, a sadhu who goes on a killing spree with the intention of exacting revenge upon a Subedar named Rahmat Khan, who is also being chased by the Marathas since he double crossed them and was trying to get away with their treasure. Saif’s look of an Agori baba was appreciated by all and people were left in awe of the character.

‘Tanhaji’
Until Tanhaji was released in 2020, many were reminded that Saif is quite a versatile hero. Seeing his gritty side as Udaybhan Singh in this period drama, gave an all-new dimension to his acting prowess. While Saif’s baddie avatar was quite loved, it also reinvented possibilities for him on the acting front. Saif’s performance in Tanhaji was a really striking one, especially his dialogue delivery, which reminded many of his amazing performance in Omkara.
‘Jawaani Jaaneman’
While Saif has played some really fun characters on the big screen, what made his Jawaani Jaaneman character really a brave one was the flamboyance it carried. While Saif played a true blue Casanova in this fun story, his vulnerable side was also something that touched many hearts. And showing so much range in one character was something fans actually loved.
‘Vikram Vedha’
In 2022, Saif locked horns with Hrithik Roshan in Vikram Vedha. Playing the role of SSP Vikram so effortlessly only left the audience charmed. In fact, Saif’s strong action-packed stance in this project was really applause-worthy.
