‘Made In Heaven 2’ Actor Nikhil Khurana: Christmas Is All About Celebrating What You Have Achieved This Year

Actor Nikhil Khurana, who has been part of ‘Made In Heaven 2’ and will soon be making his big screen debut with ‘Sanaa’, says that he loves celebrating Christmas every year. He adds that it’s a time when you can be happy with all that you have achieved and look forward to the New Year.

“The significance of Christmas is that you celebrate what you achieved this year and feel good about what you have done this year and how you move forward towards your ultimate goals. Be happy about whatever you gathered this year and be excited about the new year that's going to come in a few days as the new year brings new energy. So, I am happy with what I have achieved this year and will try hard to achieve what I want in the coming year,” he says.

Ask him about his Christmas memories, and he says, “I am an army officer's kid so we used to go to these army clubs and have big Christmas parties and everyone would just have a great time. There would be Santa Claus, cakes, gifts, and a lot of boys and girls. Back then we were in schools so we were not allowed to meet students from other classes or schools. You due to this party you would get a chance to meet your crush because everyone's allowed to be there. It was a great time because all the boys and girls got to see each other after school. After all, in those times that was not possible but now it is. So, these were my memories from Christmas, you get to see your schoolmates, talk to your crush and have fun.”

Ask him what are the Christmas traditions that he follows every year, and he says, “I wish everyone a Merry Christmas, go to church for prayer and look at trees and lighting, have a good meal, check what other people have done and spend time with friends and family.”

Talking about balancing work with festivals, he says, “It is simple to make a balance if you live with your family and I live with my parents so it's quite easy for me. It automatically creates a balance between personal and professional life. You book that day, go out with your family, have lots of fun and as for work, we are constantly thinking about work. So work is always happening in the head, we keep on planning or doing something. I think if you are with your family you have to give them quality time.”

On the work front, Nikhil Khurana will next be seen in ‘Sanaa’ opposite Radhika Madan. The film is set to release in 2024.
