Telangana Chief Mnister KCR is just one of the many politicians who are slightly on the frivolous side.  The CM recently donated gold jewellary worth Rs 5 Crore to  the richest Hindu temple in the world, the Tirupati Balaji temple to fulfill a personal vow taken during the agitation of a separate state, Telangana.

A rapper has now come up with a music video to remind the CM that the money so frivolously donated to the temple belongs to the state and not to the minister himself.

Watch the video here-

Ever since 2009, KCR has been a staunch supporter for the formation of Telangana as a separate state. From sitting on a fast to appeasing the gods  with gold ornaments, the minister also took a vow to present more gold to the deities on its fulfillment.

After much protests and agitation, Telangana was finally declared the 29th state of India in 2014 and KCR was elected as the first chief minister of the state.

However, official sources claim that the money required for fulfilling KCR's vow of making gold ornaments worth Rs 5 crore were drawn from the state’s Common Good Fund of the Endowments Department, which is meant for renovation of dilapidated temples.

The video is a reminder to the minister that the money spent belongs to the state and even though 'you may have the majority, but we're still your priority'. Pointing out that the state is far from being crisis free, with major issues like drought and farmers' suicides to pay heed to, she gives the minister a better advice, "You should divert it (money) to the welfare, the state really needs the care."
