A Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) leader was shot dead on Thursday in Bisrakh, Uttar Pradesh.
According to a report by The Times of India, the victim, Shiv Kumar, was gunned down by unidentified assailants.
The bike-borne assailants fired at Kumar and his security guard, who were travelling in a Toyota Fortuner car. Subsequently, both of them died.
Another injured occupant was admitted to a private hospital. A police team is currently investigating the matter.
