The Windsor Police have started an investigation into the incident that they allege is a 'hate-motivated incident'
According to The Canadian Press's Harpreet Singh, Jaspinder Singh, Karanpal Singh, Mohit Chouhan and Pawan Kumar were pronounced dead at the scene.
The dead bodies that have been recovered included of five adults and one child under the age of three, the report said.
Earlier, a 21-year-old Sikh woman, Pawanpreet Kaur, was shot to death in a 'targeted' attack on December 3 in the Ontario province.
