An explosive atomweight Muay Thai tilt between Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak and Bulgarian scrapper Teodora Kirilova is heading to Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium for ONE Fight Night 34: Eersel vs. Jarvis on Prime Video.
That bout will take place live in U.S. primetime on Friday, August 1, and promises fast-paced yet technical striking exchanges for as long as it lasts.
Both women will come into the contest with something to prove after suffering defeats in their most recent outings.
An experienced professional fighter well beyond her 21 years of age, “Supergirl” has long been regarded as one of Thailand’s most talented rising stars. She has a lifetime of elite training under her belt and amassed a wealth of high-level experience well before she turned 20.
The Jaroonsak representative employed her vicious knee strikes and long-range boxing to score back-to-back victories to begin her ONE tenure before dropping a hard-fought, split-decision loss to former three-sport queen Stamp Fairtex in an unforgettable kickboxing battle in early 2023.
She then bounced back to the win column with a strong showing against Lara Fernandez but suffered a shocking first-round knockout loss to Cristina Morales last time out.
Since then, “Supergirl” has remained on the sidelines while she refocuses her training and hones her weapons in preparation for her hotly anticipated return to the world’s largest martial arts organization.
Standing across from her will be the 34-year-old Kirilova. A decorated and experienced striker across both Muay Thai and kickboxing, she arrived at ONE with an unblemished professional record and loads of well-deserved hype.
However, in her promotional debut at ONE Fight Night 20, Kirilova fell against Israeli prodigy Shir Cohen.
With the first loss of her professional career behind her, she’s motivated to turn things around at ONE Fight Night 34. And given her high-volume style of striking, fans can expect a firefight when she goes toe-to-toe with “Supergirl.”
