The Indian wrestlers protesting at Jantar Mantar received a boost to their campaign after the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) lent them support. On Saturday, the farmers had announced that they would hold nationwide protests against the Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. On Sunday, some of the SKM leaders visited the protest site to express solidarity with the grapplers. They also said that from May 11-18, an all-India agitation shall be held in all state capitals, talukas, and district headquarters. Meanwhile, Brij Bhushan, a BJP MP, continued to claim innocence and even urged the leaders of the coalition to wait for the probe of the allegations made against him.
