The Gerhard Erasmus-led Namibia are coming after defeating Canada in an ODI match, which was a part of ICC Cricket World Cup League Two 2023-27. It was reduced to 43 overs in the second innings after the rain.
Namibia set a 187-run target and in response Canada got a good start but lost wickets at a regular interval. Then rain interrupted the match and after that the updated target was set at 167 runs.
Canada tried their best but failed to reach the target by 12 runs. Erasmus picked up four wickets and was named Player of the Match for his performance.
Now, Canada will try to start their campaign with a win and also take the revenge of the defeat in the last ODI played at the same venue.
