Wiaan Mulder provides the breakthrough, dismissing Pat Cummins (43) in his first over of the day. He was brought on to break a partnership that was proving troublesome for the South African camp.

Mulder comes round the wicket with two slips and a gully in place. He bowls a length delivery which takes an outside edge off Cummins' bat and goes to second slip, where Markram makes no mistake.

It has been quite a morning for the Australians in the middle. The runs have come easily, but the short-ball barrage from Anrich Nortje has kept them on their toes. One of the deliveries almost got Pat Cummins out as he tried defending the short ball on the off stump, resulting in an outside edge. The ball fell short of the slip, giving relief to the Australian camp.

Australia have crossed the 200-run mark. At one point, they were reduced to 124/6. Looking at South Africa's form, reaching 200 looked like a dream for Australia.
