Asian Olympic Qualifiers Rifle and Pistol Event Live Streaming: When And Where To Watch Indian Shooters In Action On TV And Online

Indian shooters will lool to make it big at the Asian Olympic Qualifiers and seal their spot at the Paris Olympics 2024 starting in July later this year. Here are the streaming, squad and broadcast details of the event

19th Asian Games-Shooting

The year 2024 is going to be a big one for Indian sports given that it will stage one of the biggest sporting events - the Paris Olympics. With a host of Indian stars already qualified/qualifying, Indian shooters will be looking to book their place at the marquee event starting in July. (More Sports News)

A 20-member squad have been announced by the National Rifle Association Of India (NRAI) for the rifle and pistol event whereas a 12-member squad has been announced for the shotgun team event. These events will be held in Indonesia and Kuwait, respectively. A total of 16 Paris 2024 Olympic games quota will be available in Jakarta, Indonesia where Indian shooters will take part. The event is already underway, January 5 and will end on January 18.

The shotgun event is scheduled to be held from January 12-22 in Kuwait City and sees eight Paris spots available.

Some of the big names in Indian shooting will be seen in action - former men's trap world champion Manavjit Singh Sandhu, Gurpreet Singh in pistol event and Anjum Moudgil in rifle - will be marking their comebacks.

India has so far won 13 out of a maximum possible 24 Olympic qualification spots for the Paris Games next year. As per the rules, a country can secure only one quota place in an event in an ISSF Championship.
