A 40-year-old woman from Vemulawada, Rajanna Sircilla district, fought a masked burglar who tried to break into her house and prevented him from entering.
The CCTV installed at her residence captured the altercation and the video has now gone viral on the internet. According to a report by PTI, six separate teams were formed by the district police to apprehend the offender.
The video begins with a woman, alarmed by the barking of her dog, looking around to figure out what's going on. He was positioned behind a wall in a dark corner with an iron rod in his hand. He attacks the woman immediately but she too defended herself without backing down and she could be heard shouting to alert the neighbours. The man was unable to injure the woman during the fight and ran away eventually. Later, the woman told the media that he had stolen a seven-gram gold chain from her.

Reportedly, Superintendent of Police Akhil Mahajan has said that the incident took place in the early morning of Sunday.
A complaint has been lodged with the police, who are investigating this incident. They're looking at surveillance footage to find the attacker.
