Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Tuesday praised a National Disaster Response Force jawan, Venkatesan, for alerting his senior officials at the right time about the Odisha train accident, which helped save lives.
In a social media post, the Chief Minister said Venkatesan, belonging to Tamil Nadu informed top authorities at the right hour and a NDRF unit stationed nearby was rushed to the spot saving many lives. Venkatesan travelled in the Coromandel Express on June 2.
Stalin lauded Venkatesan for acting quickly with clarity even during shocking times.
