Thane district of Maharashtra reported 108 new coronavirus positive cases, which took its tally of infections to 7,44,235, a health official said on Friday.
With these cases recorded on Thursday, there are now 960 active cases in the district, he said.
The death toll rose to 11,958 as two patients succumbed to the infection during the day, while recovery count stood at 7,31,958, the official added.
