Tejashwi Yadav Calls Ram Navami Violence In The State A 'Sanghi Attempt'

Expressing his concern over the ‘Sanghi Attempt’ to disrupt state harmony, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav tweeted in the backdrop of the Ram Navami violence that gripped the nation, including Bihar.

Taking to Twitter, Yadav claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is frustrated in states where its position is weak. He further added that stringent action is being taken against the miscreants by identifying each one of them, he added.

Yadav also said that Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has been giving befitting responses to BJP’s “experiment” aimed at dislocating the brotherhood.

Violence erupted in two districts of Bihar, Nalanda and Sasaram after two groups reportedly opened fire at each other reported India Today, leading to injuries and death. Vehicles, houses and shops were torched, and several people were injured in the communal flare-ups reported in both towns.

The police have made about 112 arrests in Bihar Sharif and Nalanda as fresh violence erupted a day after the Ram Navami clashes.

Additionally, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar chaired a high-level meeting following the violence, directing the police to be on alert. Social Media is also being monitored to curb the rumor mill or misinformation.
