A Dalit boy was found hanging in his classroom in Pragpura area of Rajasthan's Kotputli-Behror district. He was a class 10 student at the Jawahar Navodaya School.

The police have said the incident took place on Wednesday and the family has refused to accept the body.

The police further told PTI that the family members have alleged that it is a murder and are holding a protest for the arrest of two teachers.

The family members accuse the two teachers of killing the boy and then hanging it to make it appear like a case of suicide.

Kotputali-Behror’s Superintendent of Police Ranjeeta Sharma said, "Post-mortem of the body could not be conducted because the family members have been staging a dharna. Efforts are on to pacify them."
