He was arrested last night
The police convicted him
For being an illegal poet.

His Chargesheet mentioned -
An illegal infiltrator
Who infiltrates the lives
Of those whom the state doesn't count
As humans.
A deadly anti-national
Who shouts
Azadi
When the state asks him to sing
Capitalism mata ki jai!
A terrorist
Who eats beef and bleeds
For the lynched.
A conspirator who sees forests
When the government sees
Bauxite.
A lover
Who kisses every day?
And a fallen soul
Who shouts
Long Live Revolution
Instead of Lord ki Jay!"

He was convicted
And his hands were chopped off

Now he writes with his tongue.
