The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is currently undertaking a series of raids in approximately 44 locations spanning Karnataka and Maharashtra. According to reports from the ANI news agency, these operations are connected to an investigation into a conspiracy orchestrated by the global terror group ISIS, with the aim of executing terror attacks across the country, according to media reports.

Among the locations subject to NIA scrutiny, one has been searched in Karnataka, two in Pune, 31 in Thane Rural, nine in Thane city, and one in Bhayandar. The NIA's extensive efforts are geared towards foiling the plans of the terrorist organization to propagate violence and terror within India.
