Madhya Pradesh: CM Chouhan Announces Aid Of Rs 6,000 Per Year For Farmers Under 'CM Kisan Kalyan Yojna'

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan attended the Ladli Behna Sammelan on Wednesday in Agar Malwa district and made several announcements for projects worth more than Rs 1200 crore. He also announced an aid of Rs 6,000 for farmers during the event.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Wednesday announced that he will be giving Rs 6,000 to each farmer as aid under the 'Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojna'. Chouhan made the announcement while addressing the Ladli Behena Sammelan today at the Police Station Ground in the Agar Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh.

The office of the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister on Twitter informed that along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's aid of Rs 6,000 under 'PM Kisan Samman Nidhi', Chouhan will also be providing aid of Rs 6,000 under 'CM Kisan Kalyan Yojna' to the farmers.

Shivraj Chouhan was given a warm welcome in the Agar Malwa district as he conducted a Jan Darshan Yatra. Chouhan tweeted saying, "Today, all of you have welcomed me by showering flowers on the streets of Agar Malwa. I promise you that I will not let thorns remain in your life."

Further, Chouhan spoke about the projects he inaugurated during the programme for the Agar Malwa district. He said in Hindi, "Today I am happy to inform that in Agar Malwa district, 14 projects costing more than ₹ 1246 crore are inaugurated and 16 development works costing ₹ 60 crore are being done. Hearty congratulations to all of you!"

"Together with Ladli Behna Sena, we will remove poverty, remove injustice, atrocities and take the state on the path of prosperity and development," said Madhya Pradesh CM.

Towards the end of his speech, Chouhan said, "India is moving forward under the leadership of @narendramodi ji and a glorious, prosperous and powerful India is being built."
