Gangster Atiq Ahmad and brother Ashraf were killed on Saturday night in Prayagraj while in custody. As they interacted with media, multiple assailants approached them and shot them at point-blank range. The killing was captured on live cameras. The assailants were taken into police custody on the spot. At the time of the shooting, the two were being escorted by police to a medical college.
