Two persons have been arrested with banned Yaba tablets worth Rs 14 crore in Assam’s Cachar district, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said.

The arrests and seizure were made from a rented house in Silchar.

“Not every drug story gets a season two. @cacharpolice shut this one down with 70,000 Yaba tablets worth Rs 14 crore seized from a rented room in Dakhin Krishnapur, Silchar. Two accused were apprehended,” Sarma said in a post on X on Saturday.
