Speculation arose when Waterhouse was recently photographed sporting a dazzling diamond ring on her left hand, and a source has now confirmed to PEOPLE that the couple is indeed set to tie the knot.
“They are engaged. They both want to be married. It’s important for them,” shared an insider close to the couple. This news comes on the heels of the pair revealing last month that they are expecting their first child together.
The engagement follows Waterhouse’s announcement of her pregnancy during the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico last month. In a fan-captured video posted on X (formerly Twitter), she playfully teased the audience with her sparkling outfit before revealing her baby bump, prompting cheers and applause from delighted fans.
