Lizzo recently gained widespread acclaim for her encounter with a teenage fan in Australia who had been abused on social media.  "They always tell me I'm not good enough," a concertgoer told Lizzo, according to a news report.
What is the Lizzo lawsuit about?
According to reports, in a civil lawsuit filed on August 1 by three of Lizzo's former back-up dancers, the singer is accused of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment. Lizzo, her production firm, Big Grrrl Big Touring, Inc., and dancing captain Shirlene Quigley are among the defendants who have yet to reply to the charges.
"Plaintiffs Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez file a slew of charges, including sexual, religious, and racial harassment, disability discrimination, assault, and false imprisonment," according to one press report.
While some experts believe that proving a hostile work environment in the entertainment sector is difficult and that a settlement is probable.
