5.2 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Afghanistan, Tremors Felt In J&K And Delhi Too

The National Centre For Seismology has reported that an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 hit Fayzabad, Afghanistan. Tremors were reportedly felt in parts of India as well.

The National Centre For Seismology has reported that the earthquake was 5.2 on the Richter scale in Fayzabad of Afghanistan.

Tremors were also felt in Srinagar and Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir. Reportedly tremors were also felt in parts of Punjab and Haryana. No reports of any damage or injuries yet. In India, it occurred at 11:23 am on Sunday.

But the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported that the earthquake was of magnitude 5.9 and the epicentre is 70 km southeast of Fayzabad, Afghanistan, at around 10.19 am.
