PRP Group: 15 Years Of Growth, People And Purpose - Foundation Day Celebrations Offshore With A Cruise Getaway

Founded in 2011, PRP Group has grown from a public relations agency into an integrated communications group with a team of more than 250 professionals, a portfolio of over 500 brands served, 14 offices across India and six international offices. Its service portfolio spans public relations, corporate communications, digital and social media, video production, advocacy, reputation management, crisis communications and strategic brand communications. Over the years, the group has expanded its presence across sectors and markets, building an integrated offering designed to address the evolving communication needs of organisations.

The group’s journey has been shaped by the vision of Dr. Sarvesh Tiwari, a communications professional with over two decades of experience across the media, government and corporate sectors. His focus on excellence, innovation and purpose has informed the organisation’s growth and its approach to communications. Beyond its business operations, PRP Group has also undertaken initiatives focused on social welfare and civic responsibility, reflecting its belief that the role of an organisation extends beyond its commercial objectives.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, PRP Group provided food and ration support to around 500 stranded migrant workers and advocated for hundreds of Indians stranded in Japan, helping bring their concerns to the government. The group also took responsibility for the educational expenses of 135 children who lost their parents during the pandemic, committing support until the eldest earning member of each family becomes financially independent.

Its civic engagement efforts include #IOwnGurugram, a community-led campaign that encourages citizens, corporates and communities to take greater ownership of the city’s well-being. The initiative seeks to bring people together with authorities and government bodies to address civic and infrastructure challenges in Gurugram. Dr. Tiwari also serves as General Secretary of Nirbhaya Jyoti Trust, founded by Nirbhaya’s parents, Asha Devi and Badri Nath, and has been associated with the campaign seeking justice for Nirbhaya.

In a first-of-its-kind celebration for the PR industry, the integrated communications group brings together its people for a two-night cruise experience, marking 15 years of growth, collaboration and shared purpose.

In an industry built around creating memorable experiences for brands, PRP Group chose to create one for its own people. Marking its 15th Foundation Day, the integrated communications group took its celebrations offshore with a two-night cruise getaway aboard the luxurious Cordelia Cruise, sailing from Mumbai. Bringing together employees from across its offices and geographies, the celebration offered a departure from conventional corporate milestone events, placing the spotlight on the people and collective journey behind the organisation’s growth.

The two-night, three-day getaway brought the PRP Group team together for celebrations, team interactions and informal moments away from the usual workplace environment. More than a milestone event, the cruise was conceived as an opportunity for colleagues across locations to reconnect, reflect on their shared journey and celebrate the organisation’s evolution over the past 15 years. The initiative also reflected the group’s people-first approach, recognising that its growth has been shaped by the relationships, commitment and collective efforts of its teams.

“Fifteen years is not just a milestone for an organisation; it is a reflection of the people, relationships, ideas and collective effort that have shaped its journey. We wanted to celebrate this milestone differently. Taking our team offshore was our way of stepping away from the conventional and creating an experience that everyone could be a part of and remember. PR is an industry built around people, relationships and experiences, and it felt only right that our 15th year should be celebrated together, in a setting that was as memorable as the milestone itself,” said Dr. Sarvesh Tiwari, Founder and Managing Director, PRP Group.

As PRP Group completes 15 years, the cruise celebration offered a moment to look beyond milestones and business metrics to recognise the people who have shaped its journey. By taking its Foundation Day celebrations to sea, the group marked the occasion in a way that brought its teams together around a shared sense of achievement, belonging and purpose while looking ahead to the next chapter of its growth.
