Simple Suni who recently celebrated ten years of his iconic debut Simple Aagondu Love Story, has returned with yet another of his simple love stories. And this one is rather simply titled “Ondu Sarala Premakathe.” The movie which stars Vinay Rajkumar and Swathishta of Vikram fame, saw the announcement of its title on Wednesday evening at a do held in Mysuru.
Simple Suni meanwhile talks about his project and tells us that he was clear that he wanted a Kannadada face as the heroine of his film. “And that has been the priority in all my films. I had watched Swathishta’s performance in Vikram and was impressed by the way she carried her role. And then I got to know she is from North Karnataka, I felt happy. Also, she matches the role so well and we decided to cast her,” shares Suni.

Swathishta too says she is immensely happy to be on board the film. “Since I am from Karnataka, I was always keen to do a film in my own language. But I wanted a good subject to come my way. Ondu Sarala Premakathe had all the aspects I wanted in my debut Kannada film and I decided to take it up. Moreover it has a scion of the Rajkumar family — Vinay Rajkumar and I couldn’t have asked for a better launch. I have heard a lot about him and I’m so glad to be working with him now,” shares Swathishta.
