Q: How does it feel after winning a title as CIO of the year?
A: I feel incredibly humbled to have accepted this award from Outlook. For CTIOs like us, receiving this honor is a true inspiration and motivator. It's an acknowledgement of the work we accomplish. It also exemplifies the fact that we are delivering work and ideas that enhance human connectivity and improve society. I also want to express my gratitude to 6D Technologies, my team, and my family who have been a supporting pillar for me to achieve this award. I see this as a fresh benchmark to set for upcoming successes and to keep making greater contributions to human society and improved connectedness.

Q: How would you use being the recipient of this award to influence others?
A: As the CTIO of 6D Technologies, my primary goal is to develop team knowledge across all of the 6D Business lines' disciplines. 6D Technologies develops technologies in the areas of customer engagement platforms, digital financial platforms, digital service delivery platforms, sales & distribution, and 5G, IoT, and M2M connectivity. This accomplishment will undoubtedly establish a new bar for our team's continued work on developing disruptive ideas across all of the aforementioned business categories.
Q: How would it impact your organization?
A: As a company, we've always believed in allowing our employees to excel at what they do. This acknowledgment adds a feather to the cap and inspires all of our staff to aim high and surpass themselves. My main emphasis has always been on "excellence" in innovation, which sets us apart in order to accomplish our company's objectives and nurturing more leaders.

Q: Please tell us about yourself and your organization.
A: I'm Nikhil Paul, CTIO at 6D Technologies, a tech enthusiast who is passionate about innovation and technology. I've always strived to provide the best solution. It has proven difficult to manage strategic vendor and technology partner relationships for IT resource allocation, goal/KPI setting, and performance metric design. I have earned a wealth of technical experience through working on various stages of development and overcoming several obstacles in the pursuit of perfection. My work has always been centered on producing successful business outcomes for my partners and clients around the world.
