Dev Menaria has been making major headlines for his recent works in notable movies. He recently grabbed a prominent role in an upcoming film based on the founder and first president of RSS - Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh, Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar. The film is highly awaited and is expected to deliver excellence on screen. The film is named ‘Dr. Hedgewar’ and is directed by Sunny Mandavra.
The shooting and muhurat of the film Dr. Hedgewar was placed in Nagpur considering the fact that the world's largest volunteer organization called Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh, RSS, was established on 27 December 1925 in Nagpur. On the muhurat of the film, India's Road Transport & Highways Minister Mr. Nitin Gadkari came as the chief guest.

Talking about Dr. Hedgewar, actor Dev Menaria mentions “Dr. Hedgewar, the first RSS president of RSS Sangh, took a pledge to work whole heartedly for people and poured his soul for the freedom of the nation. The life of Keshav Baliram Hedgewar is being filmed and I am glad to be a part of it.”
Actor Dev Menaria from the Lake City Udaipur is playing the role of Dr. Hedgewar's dear friend Ganu in this film. Talking about his role in the film, the actor shares, “Ganu was not only a childhood friend of Dr. Hedgewar who stayed with him in every happiness and sorrow, but he also formed the RSS Sangh along with Hedgewar and organized large meetings to fight against the British. Hedgewar's friend Ganu named the Sangh as Rashtriya Swayam Sevak. He has been an ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party against the British. I feel proud to have done the biopic of such a great personality. This film will be released in 2023. My co-stars in this film are Jayanand Shetty, Raj Purohit Astabhuja Mishra, Vipin Singh, Sagar Arora, Santosh Hirasinghani, Vikrant Singh Thakur and Fight Master Rahul Verma alongwith others. I hope people receive the film with as much love as we have poured in it.”
