Pakistani actress Mahira Khan got married for the second time. She tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, entrepreneur Salim Karim in a dreamy wedding ceremony. Social media is flooded with pics and videos of the ‘Raees’ actress’ wedding.
For her big day, Mahira donned an ivory ensemble with a trailing veil and the groom was in a black sherwani and a turban. As per reports, Mahira wore a Faraz Manan-designed ensemble.
Reportedly, Mahira and Salim’s wedding took place in Pakistan’s Bhurban in attendance with their family and friends. In a wedding video that Mahira's manager Anushay Talha Khan shared, Salim was seen turning emotional and wiping his tears as Mahira walked towards him. He kissed Mahira’s forehead and both hugged each other.
Mahira and Salim have been in a relationship for several years but they kept it private. As per Tribune.com, the 'Humsafar' actress had earlier confirmed dating Salim in an interview with Samina Peerzada. In 2022, when Mahira was asked if she was in love, she smiled and said, "Yeah, I think I am in love. I don't know, I am so shy about it''. She had also confirmed that he wasn't from the industry.
For the unversed, Mahira got married to Ali Askari in 2007. They parted ways in 2015. Mahira and Ali have a son, Azlan.
On the work front, Mahira will be seen Netflix series ‘Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo’ with Fawad Khan and Sanam Saeed. It is an official adaptation of Farhat Ishtiaq’s bestselling 2013 Urdu-language novel.
