Ranbir Kapoor Shares His Favourite Moment With Daughter Raha, Reveals What His Ideal Sunday Looks Like

Ranbir Kapoor, who has been riding high post the success of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’, embraced fatherhood in November 2022 with the birth of his daughter Raha. Ever since she was born, the actor has time and again talked about his wish to spend as much time with her. Recently, Ranbir disclosed details of his ‘ideal’ Sunday and his best international holiday, and both involved his 14-months-old daughter. 

In a video posted by TATA AIG GIC, Ranbir Kapoor was asked about his best memory with Raha, to which the actor said, “Favourite memory would be locking eyes with her and having that instant recognition of who I am, smiling, looking at me and giving me a hug and kiss. I don’t think there is any other better moment than this.”

The actor further described his “ideal Sunday” which involves, “spending lots of time with Raha, unhealthy cheat meals, playing a sport either football, golf, or padel tennis, and ending the day with watching a movie.”

During the Q&A, Ranbir was also questioned about two favourite international trips. He replied, “Last family holiday that I took with my parents and my sister to Mauritius, this was when my sister got married. And, the one I took with my daughter Raha recently to New York. New York is my favourite place in the world and just to explore the streets of New York with her was a surreal moment for me.”

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt recently posed with Raha for the paparazzi before the annual Christmas lunch of the Kapoors.

Earlier, Ranbir talked about embracing parenthood, and called it the “best feeling in the world.” At a promotional event, he said, “I think the moment my child was born, Raha was born, it opened a different emotion… a different ‘chakra’ in your body. You know, I have never felt like this ever in my life. And it is pure joy, you know I just want to be at home, I just want to be with her… mujhe kaam nahi karna, kuch nahi karna. But aisa kar nahi sakta… but my feeling is just… I can’t explain it! It’s the best feeling in the world!”

Ranbir tied the knot with Alia in 2022.
