Tamil superstar Rajinikanth’s 170th film has created significant buzz among his fans. His upcoming film, ‘Vettaiyan’ with Fahadh Faasil has already got fans talking. In a recent development, a picture of the two actors from the set has gone viral on social media.
A fan shared a picture of Fahadh Faasil and Rajinikanth on the set of ‘Vettaiyan.’ The picture has increased the anticipation around the film. It shows the two actors shooting a scene with the crew members holding umbrellas to shield them from the sun. Rajinikanth is seen talking to a member of the production crew while Fahadh is listening to them. The location looks like a school building with a blackboard and a pictorial chart behind the actors. The fan wrote, “Thalaivar and FaFa in same frame!!”

Directed by TJ Gnanavel, ‘Vettaiyan’ is touted to be an action film. The film will feature Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil, Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles. The director has managed to get powerhouses of talent together in a single film. Previously, TJ Gnanavel has also directed the critically acclaimed Tamil legal drama film, ‘Jai Bhim.’
‘Vettaiyan’ has been shot in multiple locations such as Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirunelveli, and Mumbai. The movie was officially announced earlier this year with a tentative title – ‘Thalaivar 170.’ The final title of the film was announced on December 12 which coincided with Rajinikanth’s birthday.
