Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav To Hold Dialogue On Global Investment In Davos

WEF Annual Meeting in Davos Jan 18–23, 2026 will see CM Dr. Mohan Yadav showcase Madhya Pradesh’s investment opportunities, engage global leaders, and promote sectors like EVs, renewables, IT, ESDM and food processing.

The Annual Meeting of the ‘World Economic Forum’ will be held in Davos from January 18 to 23, 2026. At this prestigious global platform, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will present investment opportunities available in Madhya Pradesh. The theme of the World Economic Forum 2026 is ‘A Spirit of Dialogue’ and ‘Unlocking New Sources of Growth’, under which key issues related to the global economy, will be deliberated.

The objective of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s visit to Davos is to position Madhya Pradesh as a leading investment destination, establish direct engagement with top global industry leaders, and advance new investment opportunities in the state’s priority sectors. The visit will focus on discussions with multinational companies on investment intent proposals, strengthening institutional ties with global policymakers, and reinforcing the state’s brand image as a future-ready state.

At the World Economic Forum, Madhya Pradesh will showcase its strengths and policy support across the automotive and new mobility, renewable energy and green hydrogen, IT, ESDM and Global Capability Centres, and food processing sectors. In the automotive sector, the state will highlight its strong ecosystem for electric vehicle manufacturing, battery storage, and auto components. Industrial achievements of automotive clusters such as Pithampur will be presented on the global stage.

In the renewable energy sector, the state’s capabilities will be showcased through projects such as the Omkareshwar Floating Solar Project and the Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Project. Emerging investment opportunities under the Green Hydrogen Policy will also be presented to international investors. In the IT and ESDM sectors, Indore and Bhopal will be promoted as emerging IT and Global Capability Centre hubs, with emphasis on incentives available under the state’s IT, ITES and ESDM Policy 2023.

In the food processing sector, Madhya Pradesh will be positioned as the “Food Basket of India,” highlighting investment opportunities in mega food parks and agriculture-based value-addition chains.

During his stay in Davos, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will hold one-to-one meetings with CEOs of Fortune 500 companies and global industrial leaders. Sectoral roundtable meetings focusing on automotive and new mobility, energy, IT, healthcare, and food processing will also be held, where existing investors in the state will share their experiences.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also participate in various sessions of the World Economic Forum, covering themes such as labour, energy security, renewable energy, and food security.
