While the Hurriyat's plans to meet Pakistani PresidentGen. Pervez Musharraf have been doomed, a separatist leader of Kashmir hasreached Pakistan and attended a meeting which Musharraf had with leaders ofPakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to discuss the coming Indo-Pak summit.

Fareeda Dar, sister of Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Front(JKIF) chief Bilal Beg and an accused in the 1996 Lajpat Nagar bomb blast, wentwith at least 10 other JKIF activists to Pakistan on June 14, ostensibly toattend the marriage of her brother there, sources said today.

She was present at the meeting Musharraf had on June 28with PoK leaders, the sources said.

Pointing out that some of the associates of Fareedawere Pakistan-trained militants, they said, she along with Bilal are the accusedin the Lajpat Nagar blast that left several people dead.

The Hurriyat Conference had proposed in January thisyear to send a delegation to Pakistan to meet the leadership and militantleaders there. This, however, was disallowed by the Government.

The Government has also opposed any move by Pakistan toinvite the Hurriyat leaders to meet Musharraf and reports from Islamabad saidthat he would not have any such meeting during his visit to India next week.

The sources added that Bilal had links with underworlddon Dawood Ibrahim and the two meet frequently.
