A video shared by Amit Malviya, the national in-charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s IT Cell, wrongly claiming that AMU students chanted slogans against the Hindu community has gone viral on social media.
"If this is the mindset that pervades in these ‘minority’ institutions, imagine the plight of Hindus and other minorities in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan...," the tweet said.
The same video was shared by another BJP leader, Tajinder Singh Bagga, who said: "This is Not a protest for #CAB this is call for Ghazwa-E-Hind . Bahut se chehre Naqabo se bahar aa rhe hai dhire dhire."
However, Twitter was quick to point out Malviya's "lies", with multiple users explaining him the difference between the words "Hindutva and Hindu."

If someone carefully listens to the audio, it becomes clear that the students chanted: "Hindutva ki kabr khudegi, AMU ki Dharti par..."
"Hindutva bola hai , STOP SPREADING LIE," said a Twitter user.
