At Outlook Speakout 2019 Awards, we acknowledge the contribution these individuals made by  transcending the socetial pressures, broken glass ceilings and done away with taboos and inspired millions.

Here is the list of winners of  Outlook Speakout 2019 Awards:

Arti Jaiman is the Station Director of Gurgaon Ki Awaz Samudayik Radio. She concieved India’s first society-led community radio station to cater to the information gaps of the people, via community reporters, to empower women to speak of things they had never spoken of publicly.

Nine-year-old Valentino Elangbam is Manipur’s Green Ambassodar. She was seen sobbing for two Gulmohar trees that she had planted and tended to for four years when they were being cut down to widen a road.

Dr. Priyanjali Datta helps women in rural areas to nip the breast cancer in the bud through a proactive healthcare movement that has so far helped around 5 lakh women across north India. Founder of Aaroogya, Datta goes door-to-door with her teammates to aware women how to self-examine for breast cancer.

Shehi Shafi is a Dubai-based artist who user her creative expression to mobilise social change. Her protest repertoire against mensturation customs in Kochi garnered a huge response.

Jagi Mangat Panda is the Managing Director of Ortel Communications, a broadcast and broadband company that she built from a scratch to an undisputed leader in Odisha TV space. She was earlier the chairperson of Confederation of Indian Industry (East).

Deepa Malik transcended her disability to become India’s first Paralympics. She was diagnosed with spinal tumor, yet she rode across nine Leh-Ladakh teacherous passes.

Anjum Moudgil is an Inspector with Punjab Police, an abstract artist, a sharp shooter to have won a medal in World Championship. She hold a masters in Sports Psychology.

Shefali Shah is a National Award Winning actress who has worked in several Bengali TV Serials. She recently featured in Netflix orginal, Delhi Crimes, based on the horrific incident of Nirbhaya. Shah was seen in the role of DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, a character that was widely appreciated.

Kirti Kulhari is an actress with a diverse filmography. She has appeared in some of the much-appraised movies and Web Series. In movie Pink, Kulhari stood out with her powerful performance.

Kubbra Sait quit her corporate career in Dubai and took a plunge into entertainment industry. And since then, there has been no turning back. She played the charatcer of a transgender in the popular web series, Sacred Games, that gained her huge appreciation.
