Kumkum Mohod

Born on March 10, 2009, in Amravati, Maharashtra, Kumkum Mohod began her archery journey in 2018 after her mother enrolled her at Radhey Archery Academy under coach Prafull Dange. Overcoming financial hardships that forced her family to dip into savings for a bow—ultimately leading to World Cup and Asian Games gold on a second-hand setup—she experienced a sensational breakthrough in 2026. In May, she teamed up with Ankita Bhakat and Deepika Kumari to clinch World Cup team gold by defeating South Korea and China, before securing recurve mixed team gold alongside Dhiraj Bommadevara in Antalya and shining at the Asian Games.
