Zimbabwe cricket team recently failed to qualify for the T20 World Cup 2024 at the African Qualifiers. Only two teams from the African region could go for the international showpiece and Namibia along with Uganda claimed those two spots. Sikandar Raza-led Zimbabwe team was thrashed by these two teams in the round-robin stage. The Zimbabwe team was not part of the recently concluded ODI World Cup in India because they failed to qualify for that earlier this year.

Ireland's star batter Paul Stirling will be leading the side in white-ball cricket after Andrew Balbirnie stepped down from captaincy duties. The Irish team have some seriously talented players including Curtis Campher, Josh Little Harry Tector and Craig Young.
