It would appear that World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Brock Lesnar has passed on his sporting prowess and strength to atleast one of his progeny. Following in the athletic footsteps of her father Brock Lesnar, Mya broke Colorado State's record in shot put with a mark of 18.50 metres at the Mines Alumni Classic. The previous school record was 17.55 metres. (Sports News)
The 21-year-old Mya is one of the two children Brock had with his former fiancee Nicole McClain. Lesnar had Mya and her twin brother Luke with McClain. He has two more children with his current spouse Sable, who is also a former WWE superstar.
Mya's first two throws of the competition landed around the 16-metre range to put her in first place, before she fouled her third and fourth-round attempts. She went on to shatter the record on her sixth attempt, beating her tournament competition by almost 3 metres. You can watch the video of her record-breaking throw below.
Mya's superb performance led her to earn the Mountain West Women's Field Athlete of the Week award. Meanwhile, Lesnar, who is a 10-time WWE champion, has remained away from the industry ever since he lost to Cody Rhodes in SummerSlam 2023.
