India and Australia have reached the finals defeating New Zealand and South Africa respectively in the semi-finals. The top two teams of the tournament will clash for the title on Sunday at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

India have reached the World Cup final after the year 2011, when they won the trophy for the second time, at home. MS Dhoni and company lifted the trophy after defeating Australia, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka in the knockout stages and final, respectively.

India storm into the finals after defeating New Zealand by 70 runs in a close encounter at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai after India set a target of 398 runs thanks to Virat Kohli's historic 50th ODI century, which broke Sachin Tendulkar's long-standing record, and Shreyas Iyer's back-to-back tons.
