South Africa were bowled out for 207 in their chase of 246 against the Netherlands at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala on Tuesday. Dutch skipper Scott Edwards played a captain's innings as his knock of 78 led the Netherlands to a remarkable recovery from 140/7 to 245 for eight in a rain-curtailed match against the Proteas. With rains intervening and conditions conducive to swing bowling, Proteas' captain won the toss and had opted bowl first in a 43-over game. After a good start by their pacers, Proteas' fielding was a lot to be desired as they were shoddy in field as well as gave away 32 Extras in the game. Edwards (78 off 69) shared an entertaining 64-run partnership off 37 balls with Roelof van der Merwe (29 off 19) towards the end of the innings to take the team past 200. End Of Innings: RSA 207 All Out - Overs 31-43 Highlights
It's all over as South Africa have been bowled out for 207 with the Netherlands clinching a memorable win here in Dharamsala. After Afghanistan shocking England, this is another upset in the WC. This is a historic win for the Netherlands as for the first time they have defeated a Test playing nation in a 50 Overs World Cup.
10:02pm: RSA 141/6 - Overs 21-30 Highlights
South Africa lost more wickets as Marco Jansen was cleaned up by van Meekeren. However, one blemish came for the NED was when they put down David Miller who is still going strong at the crease.
9:19pm: RSA 93/5 - Overs 11-20 Highlights
After scalping two in the first 10 overs, NED plucked another three as RSA were left reeling at 93/5 at the end of 20 overs. The Dutch bowlers have been sharp with their bowling and fielding as compared to that of their opponents who were quite poor in the 1st innings.
8:30pm: RSA 41/2 - Overs 1-10 Highlights
Set a target of 246 to win, South African openers Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma started slowly as they tried to negate the early swing on offer. QdK put the bad balls away but in the southpaw fell in the 8th over off the bowling of Ackermann. Soon, Bavuma followed suit as van der Merwe bowled the South African skipper with RSA faltering at 41/2 at the end of 10 overs.
7:25pm: NED 245/8 - Overs 31-43 Highlights
Reeling at 140/7, the Netherlands recovered to post a massive 245 in 43 overs. Thanks to a well-made 78 not out from skipper Scott Edwards and lower-order contributions from Roelof van der Merwe (29) and Aryan Dutt (23 not out), the Dutch have something to protect. Thanks to some poor fielding from the Proteas, the Dutch recovered and have a good score on board as the look to pluck early wickets in the 2nd session.
6:22pm: NED 123/6 - Overs 21-30 Highlights
The Netherlands lost the wicket of Teja Nidamanuru in the 27th over and despite maintaing a decent run rate, the Proteas' bowlers are doing a fantastic job of hauling the the Dutch to a low-score. With the game reduced to 43 overs, the Dutch know a good score on this pitch could give them a fighting chance against the high-flying Proteas.
5:38pm: NED 81/4 - Overs 11-20 Highlights
The Proteas continue to chip in with wickets at crucial stages to strenghen their hold on the match. Rabada trapped the in-form Bas de Leede in front and used DRS to turn the 'not out' decision in his team's favour in the 11th over. Fast bowler Gerald Coetzee then had Colin Ackermann chopping on to a delivery that was too close to cut. Resultantly, the Dutch innings has gone nowhere and they will now have to do well to cross 200 in their 43 overs.

4:48pm: NED 32/2 - Overs 1-10 Highlights
After a sedate but assured start, Netherlands have lost both their openers to the formidable South African pacers. Strike bowler Kagiso Rabada first dismissed Vikramjit with a short ball, the top edge ballooning behind the wicket where Heinrich Klaasen ran back and took an outstanding catch. Marco Jansen then accounted for Max O' Dowd with a beauty outside off that takes a faint snick through to the keeper. Netherlands need to rebuild from here.

Delayed by two whole hours, but play is finally underway in Dharamsala. The tall South African right-arm medium pacer Lungi Ngidi has the ball, and Punjab-origin Netherlands opener Vikramjit Singh is on strike. Ngidi starts off with tight lines and Vikramjit plays out the first over watchfully. No runs off it.

The umpires have deemed conditions fit to play in about 15 minutes. Play will begin at 4pm and it'll be a 43 overs per side game. Three bowlers can bowl nine overs each and two can bowl eight apiece.

The hilly terrain in Dharamsala provides a welcome respite to the players as against the sultry conditions at most other Indian venues currently. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 19 degree Celsius, making it pleasant and familiar weather for both teams. Twelve days into the 13th edition of the biggest 50-over extravaganza cricket has to offer, the surprises continue to come.
